Stories of Progress
“Our experience with Conboy Basketball has been amazing. My daughter has grown so much as a player and person since training with Coach Matt. He pushes kids hard, but he also truly cares about them and wants them to succeed.
The workouts are intense, competitive, and very game realistic. My daughter’s confidence, IQ, toughness, and skill level have all improved. She’s learning how to handle pressure, play faster, and compete against strong competition.
What I appreciate most is the honesty and communication. Coach Matt believes in development and preparing girls for the long term, not just trying to win one weekend tournament. He challenges players, holds them accountable, and creates an environment where they can grow.
We are thankful for the impact Conboy Basketball and FCA have had on our family.”
"As a current professional basketball player overseas, I can honestly say Matt played a huge role in helping me get there. There are a lot of trainers who talk about exposure and opportunities, but Matt actually helped me prepare for them.
The workouts were intense, detailed, and game realistic. He pushed me mentally and physically every day while helping sharpen my skill set, confidence, and IQ. More importantly, he helped connect me with legitimate opportunities to showcase my game in front of the right people.
After attending Matt’s Overseas Basketball Combine and continuing to train with him, I earned a professional contract overseas shortly after. Matt helped prepare me for that moment and made sure I was ready when the opportunity came.
What separates Matt is that he genuinely cares about his players and relationships. He invests in people, not just basketball. I’m grateful for everything Conboy Basketball has done for my career.”
“Coach Matt Conboy is one of the most connected basketball minds in the Northwest. He has built strong relationships and connections throughout youth basketball, high school, college, professional overseas leagues, and even within NBA and WNBA circles.
What separates Matt is his ability to genuinely develop players while also helping guide them through the process of getting recruited, exposed, and prepared for the next level. He understands what coaches and programs are looking for because of the relationships and experience he has built over the years.
Matt has a great feel for player development, basketball IQ, and helping athletes grow in confidence while competing at a high level. He is passionate, driven, and deeply invested in helping players reach their goals both on and off the court.
Any player or family working with Matt is getting someone who is respected, well connected, and committed to helping athletes maximize their opportunities.”
